Distance: Approximately 350 km
Begin your journey from Ulaanbaatar and travel across Mongolia's vast steppe to Karakorum, the legendary capital of the Mongol Empire established by Chinggis Khaan.
Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Surrounded by its famous 108 white stupas, the monastery once contained more than 60 temples and remains one of Mongolia's most important historical and spiritual landmarks.
Continue to the Karakorum Museum, where you'll discover archaeological treasures from the ancient Mongol Empire, including artifacts dating back to the Turkish period (6th–7th century).
After sightseeing, enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional Mongolian ger camp.

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes, popularly known as the Mini Gobi.
Stretching over 90 km, these golden sand dunes lie between mountain ranges and grasslands, creating one of Mongolia's most unique landscapes.
Visit a local nomadic family, learn about their traditional lifestyle, and enjoy a memorable camel riding experience across the dunes.
Relax during the evening at your ger camp surrounded by Mongolia's peaceful countryside.

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
Enjoy the changing landscapes of central Mongolia before arriving in the capital, where you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure.
